Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would really recommend this class of its importance first foremost. There are too many people in my opinion who are not educated in their own country's rich and exciting history. This course really helped me see how America came to be what it is today. I would recommend Dr. Vanderford because he is a great professor really knows the material.

    Course highlights:

I gained insight. on reasons for migration to America in the early days and how that relates to the present. We had discussions on historical applications and what should or shouldn't be repeated for a better future.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Always study the material. Look over it and be ready for class. Success in a history class depends on your readings and retaining that information for tests and quizzes. Stay on top of things and enjoy the class!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

It was a good starting point for anyone looking into getting involved in college courses. The workload was not bad, only 2 assignments a week, and the material learned throughout the class is interesting.

    Course highlights:

The best thing about the class for me was learning about the different trade routes and goods traded on those routes. I had to write a paper on the Triangular Trade, and instead of seeming like a chore, I found myself enjoying myself as I wrote my paper.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't get behind! Make sure that you always turn in your assignments on time and do not wait until the last minute to do your work. I had a friend get a couple of weeks behind and nearly went sick trying to get caught up.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course for many reasons other than it is a core class that almost everybody needs their freshman year in college. It's online, it's cheaper than other core classes, the professors will be of service as much as possible, and you get to virtually meet students of diverse ages and cultures.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was always doing something different as an assignment for every few chapters. It wasn't straight book work, but it wasn't strictly copy and paste work either. I learned our country's history more online than i ever have in face-to-face classes in just 16 weeks!

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to achieve this class, patience is key. Write down all of the due dates (although, they may change later) and plan what homework you are going to do each night or setting. This way, you feel on top of your work and won't stress as easy. Oh, and breathe.
