Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I thought that Chem was going to be a complete train-wreck for me this semester, but it ended up being my strongest course this semester. Professor Davidson is the best person to be teaching Chem to anyone. He makes the class very enjoyable and fun and a joy to learn about Chem in general.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was simply just learning the material. I was able to learn about covalent and ionic bonds. Along with learning about stoichiometry. Conversions were one of the toughest things to grasp, but once you get the basis down, everything else sort of just falls into place perfectly.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Taking this course requires a lot of studying. You have to be fully dedicated to learn and memorize some stuff in order to succeed in a great way. Chemistry will only be a struggle if you do not put in the effort needed from the beginning.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because it is a great way for your mind to remember everything you learned in high school chemistry and be able to take that into the next year of it.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were the parts where we had to start using a little bit of algebra to solve some of the problems but it only made it more fun for me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Pay attention and following the notes. Don't be afraid to go to the professor asking for help, they are very helpful when it comes to this kind of stuff.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would definitely recommend everyone to take Davidson in basic chemistry and general chemistry 1. He goes deep into the lecture and makes examples for the students.

    Course highlights:

The highlights for me were getting the I-clicker questions correct during his lecture.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be sure to read after class, even if its just reviewing the chapter that was just on the PowerPoint.
