    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Learning to teach math was crucial for me to become a teacher because thats what I struggled with the most.

    Course highlights:

    Learning basic teaching methods.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always attend class and take step by step notes.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

The professor was great! She had multiple outside sources where you could find help and was always willing to stay after class if a student was confused. Also the exams were not cumulative.

    Course highlights:

The end of the semester video project was definitely the best part because that was our "final exam". On the last day of class, the professor brought us pizza and we watched all of the group videos.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you understand the topic before you leave class. And Don't be afraid to send an email if your'e confused.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

It was the best course I have taken. It goes to show that if you take initiative, you will reap the rewards. SO great to have an instructor both passionate about what they do, but also about making learning accessible for those who would otherwise struggle.

    Course highlights:

I took this course my first semester in a college setting, so I found it was best for opening up and befriending peers (much needed for constant group work) and how to communicate with someone in an educator's position (be it a T.A., S.I, Professor, or the like).

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take this course. You won't regret it. You will constantly have the best help and professor at UTSA for the duration of the semester (and beyond).
