    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was an online course that was a prerequisite to foundational courses in the graduate program that I am in. Given that it is an online course, it requires a lot of discussions. The tough part of providing input in discussion threads is having the right insights combined with relevant research and references. The professor gives a lower grade on opinions versus fact-based answers.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about the American economy and basic underlying principles in economics. The relationship of government policies, healthcare, taxes and consumer behavior, and how everything affects one another. All of this come into play in discussions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

There is a lot of research involved in this course. It is helpful to use valid reference when contributing to discussions. It is also important for you to understand the lecture notes as most of the exam questions are based on that.
