Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend Mark Davidson because he really tries to make every student understand the chapters. He gives plenty of chances to improve students grades.

    Course highlights:

The iclicker questions are my favorite. After we all answer an iclicker question, Davidson will go through each question step by step so everyone will understand the subject. The hardest chapter for me was Avogadros number and moles, but by the final I could solve a equation in record time.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the chapters before the lecture. This way if you have a tough time understanding a section in the chapter, you can ask questions during his lecture time or email him if there is no time in class.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Professor Dougherty is someone who is not afraid to say what she is thinking. She is very passionate about chemistry, and puts her own spin in teaching!

    Course highlights:

This class is not easy that's for sure. Her test may seem easy at some points, but make sure to carefully read every problem/picture, since you can miss easy points by doing this. She challenges you, but when you succeed it is the greatest feeling of satisfaction.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Read carefully, don't use your phone in class, take good notes, don't procrastinate, and lastly DON'T GIVE UP! I made an A even by making some 70's on her exams.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

For the actual class, I would recommend Garcia. He makes it a point that he is there to help you and will make sure you understand if you ask questions.

    Course highlights:

It is a more extensive course from Basic Chemistry so be prepared to do more thorough problems

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class-it cuts time from studying and finding key points to study
