Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Robert Browning at the University of Texas at San Antonio was a very entertaining professor! He is very knowledgeable over his material and is always willing to help students if needed! Would definitely recommend this course!

    Course highlights:

There was so much to learn about colonial history. The American colonies and their relationship with their mother country was a roller coaster of emotions. Learning about creation of the new American government after they won their independence was interesting, as well. It seemed for the most part, they really didn't know what they wanted for their country!

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Attend class and take notes! Study HARD! Cram the night before exams and make sure to go to the free study sessions or create your own study group with your friends!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

One of the easier professors at UTSA. Go to class, take notes, ask questions, and give feedback on his tests. If you do so, you will get an A.

    Course highlights:

You will learn basically what you have learned in your previous high school courses. However, now you will analyze history from a more in depth angle.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not let the first test grade scare you too much. Do all the homework and keep going to class. Express your thoughts of the test to him and he will have test reviews that will help you get an A on the tests.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this class for any incoming college freshman. I was able to meet great people, acquire time management skills, and how to work with a diverse group of people when we had a research group project.

    Course highlights:

The best part of this course was the research group assignment. I learned a lot about the topic my group and I decided to focus on. Prior to the research I didn't know much about it and what I thought I knew wasn't by all means correct. This assignment helped me expand my knowledge.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

The key to succeed in this class is to keep up with the syllabus, readings and go to class. Spend some time after class reviewing the material and you would be fine for exams!
