Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a pre-requisite class for I believe every major at UTSA. After taking this course, I have referred Professor Todd Wright to everyone I know, younger and older, who still need to take comp 2. He was an interesting teacher and didn't do straight lecture like most professors. He was extremely engaging which actually kept the students engaged and able to learn. He was a fair grader and he made sure to comment on everything specifically in your writings, whether it was good commentary or constructive criticism. Out of all the professors I've had thus far, Professor Wright is one that truly cares about the success and education of his students.

    Course highlights:

There were 4 major essay grades and the rest were participation which included attendance, and 2 quiz grades. I can write a journal that included everything I learned in this course. I took AP Literature in high school and I learn way more about writing and literature in one semester of college than I did in one year of high school.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you attend his class because attendance does count toward your grade as it should. You won't learn anything if you're not in class. Also, have fun with this class, be creative! He loved creativity and everyone has a different creative side which is one thing I believe he enjoys about his job.
