Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend this course for anyone who is interested in pursuing a degree in Finance or anyone who is even slightly interested in understanding how to evaluate businesses, financial markets, and financial securities. It is truly a class that will open your eyes to how financing works not only for businesses, but for yourself as well.

    Course highlights:

I gained a tremendous amount of knowledge from this course. I truly now understand, can evaluate, and analyze many different financial securities and their markets. I am now able to understand how businesses are financed and how corporations operate.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

The one piece of advice that I have for incoming students in this course is to continually look over your notes and the material. You have to constantly reintroduce yourself to the material so that you can fully understand the conceptual ideals in this course. Also don't be afraid to ask the professor for help. That is essentially what they are there for.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to study, go to a required lab session, and buy a financial calculator. This class has the reputation of being difficult but stick with it. It is very useful information.
