This class was tough.
The course was very rigorous in that we were required to do our own research on any topic related to our course. I researched the political impact of congressional incumbents on the economic growth of the communities they serve.
I enjoyed going to various government offices to acquire demographic information on certain congressional districts. The outcome was alarming because I researched someone whom I admired because of their commitment to community improvements. I found out that the incumbent's attitude was complacent and stagnant. This resulted in stagnation of economic growth of the communities they serve. The demographics of the community had not improved since the incumbent had been in office. Therefore, the accuracy of publicized community involvement became questionable.

Advice for students:
This is a course that you should take if you like challenges. You will grow intellectually and learn how to conduct research on a "graduate" level.
