    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

After taking RTF Media Analysis and Criticism most students will label it the most difficult course offered in the school of Communication. I recommend this course because it heightens your sense of understanding for media and the major roles it plays on society.

    Course highlights:

After taking this course I had a vast understanding of the roles of television and the effects it has on its viewers. I do not look at television as merely television this course teaches you about the different ideologies, stereotypes, and myths that are being projected by way of media.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

When taking this course you must not only have a understanding of the course work but you must be able to explain in great detail your knowledge of the said topic. If you cannot regurgitate what the professor said explaining in a way that connects everything together then you will not pass this course. Active listening and communicating skills is a must!
