Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor McVey was so helpful, I cannot stress how helpful he was to me. He always answered his emails with promptness, he offered tons of extra credit points for exam. HIS PRACTICE EXAMS ALWAYS WILL ALWAYS HELP!! In addition to all of that he always held sessions for the weekly homework and was on top of his office hours. I always went it and asked questions, no matter how stupid I thought they were and he would thoroughly explain me what I needed help with. He genuinely cares about the subject of chemistry and will stop at nothing to make sure everyone taking his class understands.

    Course highlights:

The extra credit opportunities is honestly what saved me a lot of the times as well as the practice exams. Paying attention and taking good notes will help you succeed. I learned how to manage my time, Bc chemistry is one of those courses. He was a very humorous professor as well, so that helped lighten the mood often.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take efficient note, go to his office hours, go to his homework sessions, attend SLAC, as well as do the practice exams. They will prepare you for the actual exam

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I think he is a great professor and he does real well at teaching people and helping them understand.

    Course highlights:

The clicker questions! I learned how to balance equations and memorized the elements.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

I had to study the element and the nomenclatures. What really helped me study was going to the study groups that they put together.
