Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Morris Nelms is a spunky, jazz piano professor that teaches what Fine Arts are. At the beginning of the semester, he sings and teaches the class to sing with him. He brings a lot of excitement to the fine arts that many professors are unable to do. His passion for music and arts is to the extreme and it's hard not to stay interested.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to study, how to get my pitch correct, as a music student and how to practice for a test. The highlights were always singing together as a class something we had just gotten. It's really very cool when everybody subconsciously knows where to go melodically.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Talk to Mr. Nelms. He likes to hear questions, help on your homework and recommends great places in town to hear some good jazz tunes. He gives extra credit if you go see his performances in Austin.
