Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

My professor was super friendly and understanding. She not only gave great advice on literature but she took the time to make sure we understood it. It's just rare that you find a professor who cares that much so I really enjoyed her.

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about writing different essays and how to research better in the library. My highlight of the class probably was the time we spent researching different subjects in the library.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Please take it, it's extremely helpful and educational. It might be a little challenging at first but it's completely worth it.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Professor North was a superb instructor. She let us have a creative element in our writing in such a formal essay setting. She challenged us to dig deeper than what the surface was asking, and really helped us become more elaborate and passionate in our writing

    Course highlights:

I learned that all writing can have passion no matter how formal it is set to be. Creativity is a driving force behind most of what we know and see around us in our everyday setting.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

It is a pre-requisite for most majors, so I would say don't take this class to lightly and think to yourself "I'm only taking this because I have to," because you might come to know that you'll fall deeply intrigued by this course if you keep an open mind.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it taught me how to distinctly format and organize a paper, letter, and article. This course also teaches the proper way to cite credible sources.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the organization in which everything I wrote had to be in. From this course , I learned a lot about what is mandatory when citing , which was very helpful for me and others.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in this class, you must get all of the necessary reading materials required by the professor. My biggest helping resource was the Bedford Handbook which was one of the books needed for the class. The Bedford Handbook included information about citing, paper organization, and grammar.
