    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

For any prospective mass communication students, I would highly recommend that you sign up for Introduction to Mass Communication with Dr. Laurie Fluker. The reason being, that she is the best (and probably the only) professor to teach you the ropes when it comes to the history of mass media.

    Course highlights:

I learned that history is not as useless as I thought. She speaks frequently about how much she loves history, and that she can not get enough of it in one lecture. Though she speaks of specific moments in history, she is ever-intrigued by the subject.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

In order to succeed in Dr. Fluker's class, you have to attend her lectures. In addition to attending her lectures, you must also keep up with chapter readings and PowerPoint presentations.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Two out of four tests are online and the final is not required as long as you are satisfied with your grade. All powerpoints are put online and you can miss up to 6 classes.

    Course highlights:

This class made me realize that this is what I really want to major in and I the topics we talked about were very interesting.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study for the first two tests really hard!! The next two are online and easy As, making the class an easy A overall.
