    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

It's very challenging, but intriguing. It's not going to be easy for those who don't like to study. Studying and reading the book is the key. Fast paced but most online so pace yourself but stay motivated.

    Course highlights:

Cells, the reproductive system, mitosis, meiosis, DNA replication and transfer, all the basics of biology and even some chemistry with conversions and such thrown in.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read and study! Make note cards and quizlet helps a lot for vocabulary!

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because Dr. Chandler explains the information thoroughly within the given class time. Also, if you are having trouble with the course, she will give you advise on how to improve your grade. She is also very interested in what she is teaching.

    Course highlights:

Over the period of taking Dr. Chandler's class, I have gained further knowledge about cell cycles, DNA replication, photosynthesis, and fermentation.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would say attend every class period, take notes on what is being said, take the practice test on Mastering Biology, ask questions in class if you do not understand something, do not wait until the last minute to study for one of her tests, and if you need help, go to Dr. Chandler's office hours. Also, if your class has a TI and they offer study sessions, attend the session, especially if it is a review session.
