    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This was the most fun and useful class I have taken at Texas State so far.

    Course highlights:

I learned how to use playing and active movement to teach curriculum.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be willing to fully participate in silliness. When it's your turn to do work, put effort into it. It's not a hard class, but you need to be thorough in your reading responses and your lesson plans.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I took this class as a support course for my Elementary Education major and I gained some valuable teaching insights. This class taught us how to incorporate dramatic and theatrical elements into teaching. We played a lot of theatre games and facilitated multiple lesson plans. I really enjoyed this class and loved having Michelle as a professor.

    Course highlights:

I gained a lot of self confidence in my teaching skills. We start out the semester getting comfortable as a class so when we got to the storytelling unit, the process went smoothly and with minimal embarrassment. I have a background in theatre so I was already familiar with some of the element that were introduced. It was so great to share some of the knowledge that I had and Michelle was very supportive of it.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Don't be afraid to break out of your shell a little! Being energetic and outgoing in this class make for a much better class. This course enriched me as a future educator and I hope it does the same for many others.
