Not too easy. Not too difficult.

Professor McGee provided enough information and space in his lectures to promote healthy conversations between students.

    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Cultural Anthropology is a great starting place for any aspiring Anthropology students. This course gives a basic overview of the major fields of anthropology as well as introducing key concepts, techniques, and vocabulary that provides a solid foundation that you will need for Anthropological studies. This class is also extremely interesting and I would recommend it to all students regardless of major.

    Course highlights:

The methodologies i learned in this class really do apply to most anthropological research and so I still use the terms i learned in this class most every day. Also, the case studies we went over in class are considered major studies that changed or contributed to the field in some way and so are well known by most anthropologist and the thorough background knowledge I gained from this course is invaluable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Always go to class. The class itself is not particularly difficult, there are only a few fairly simple multiple choice tests and a few short writing assignments, but Dr. Brunson covers a lot of material each day and skipping can turn a fun, easy class into an impossible class in a heartbeat.
