    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Pr. Dixon is a very old man, and very knowledgable about the subject he is teaching, but he is easily distracted and not very specific on what information the class should be familiar with for the exams. Though some students can cope and succeed in these type of conditions, I was not one of them. If you need structure in the schedule and clear material to study in order to do well in a class, I suggest you chose a different course for your core requirement.

    Course highlights:

I learned more about my study and learning style by taking this course, which I know will help me in chosing other courses throughout my college carrier.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure you are interested in the topic and are flexible in your learning style.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

He is a fun, and interactive Professor. He allows one sheet of notebook paper front and back for tests that have information from chapters covered. He also doesn't put the information he puts in the homework assignments on the test.

    Course highlights:

I gained a deeper understanding of the Earth, its weather, what creates weather, and how it affects the planet. He makes you laugh, gives out extra credit, communicates with his students, and makes sure he covers any questions that come up.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to attend every class day! He will move test up if you get through the chapters faster than anticipated. Make your study sheet for the test as you move through the chapters so you won't have to rush when the test day comes closer.
