    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The class is for early educators and has fun activists but the way the class is taught creates a very nigative environment towards art and the freedom to express ones self.

    Course highlights:

Getting to work with new materials was so much fun. I learned how to make different projects for children to do with a wide range of art supplies.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be a good writer for the weekly assignments.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is a great course for those who major in education, especially elementary education! This professor provides future teachers with a different perspective through the minds of little ones from kindergarten to 6th grade. Imagine yourself as a child developing your art skills through drawings and doodles.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of this course was the ability to pretend to be a child just starting to learn about the importance of art. This course taught me things I never could do beyond what I could comprehend.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Prepare to jump into the shoes of a child and give yourself a lot of time to do the homework which consists of doodles, drawings, and eventually developed drawings.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The only thing I would recommend is to take this course for more than one day during the week. Although this class was full of art and how to incorporate art into the classroom it was also full of projects that need some time and thought put into them. The Professor was a wonderful lady that you can tell enjoyed art and what she taught. She had tons of experience and intelligence on the subject.

    Course highlights:

I learned the difference of an Art project and a Craft which was very important to me since all I was taught before was how to make crafts. I also learned how to take one lesson and create multiple lessons and art projects with it. My favorite project we learned to do was the Eric Carl Collage project, here we took different painting methods we had already done in past classes and used them to create one bigger project. This was my favorite because you didn't really know what to create until you started cutting and putting things together.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Finish your work in class and make sure to take the class time seriously. Also ask questions the sooner you understand what she asks you do the better you can achieve the assingment. Be ahead of the game if something isnt due till the next week dont wait till the day or two before start it early and finish it early.
