    Course Overview:

    If you are interested in become an Athletic Trainer, take this course. This will help you decide whether you are or not an Athletic Trainer.

    Course highlights:

    Highlights of this course is being on the sidelines of the Athletic team's practices and being around the athletes. Another highlight would be getting to try out the modalities on yourself or your classmates.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make sure you have time to go to Observation Hours. These are a big part of the class. And make sure to do your skills checks ON TIME!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This professor was understanding and very helpful in introducing us to our professions. She is an all around wonderful person and great teacher. I really enjoyed my time with her and I know others will also.

    Course highlights:

    I learned a lot of medical terminology, environmental factors that affect athletes, and I learned many skills to utilize once I'm in the actual program.

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

    keep your head up and be focused on your work. Study hard and do your best.

    Course Overview:

    If you are really interested in going into athletic training as your major and your career. This class will not only help you prepare for what the program has to offer, but also gives you experience as to what it is be an athletic trainer

    Course highlights:

    I learned what life is going to look like as an athletic trainer and what is expected of me from the professors, coaches and the athletes.

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Make time to do everything as possible. It is going to be overwhelming at first, but as soon as you put in the time and the effort it can be easier. Also make yourself noticeable to the professor and the other athletic trainers.
