Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Mr. Wood is so great. The class was very informative and eye opening. He really taught us how to see the injustices in this world. This class was a really great base for the rest of the classes that I will be taking in the social work department.

    Course highlights:

The class is broken up into learning about different people groups. We started with children and foster care and ended with the elderly and hospice care. Learning about each sector is really helpful. It made me understand which groups of people I would work best with. It also gave me a base for all of the possible people groups I could work with. Social work is so broad and what I learned about each group really helped me narrow it and understand it better.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You have to read the book, but the book is very interesting and reads easily. Make sure to give yourself enough time to do the outlines. The outlines are very helpful in the test if you do them right. However, if you are just trying to speed through them to get them done they are stressful and no help at all.
