Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course enabled me to become a better writer. I learned how to effectively express my opinions on controversial topics as well as properly formatting research as evidence to support my ideas and opinions.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of this course was the opportunity to discuss theories about William Shakespeare with my classmates. The class helped me to understand that their are various angles to every situation in life and it is important to evaluate them all. This class taught me not to be close minded, but to broaden my way of thinking.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would advise that the students have an opened mind upon taking this class. That they stand firm in their opinions, but attempt to see the world through various lenses. I would advise to write your papers ahead of time and have them proofread by various people.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This professor is truly passionate about Shakespeare, which is what this course revolves around. Her love for this poet brings the classes to life, turning boring lectures into fascinating stories. She is smart and knows what she is doing. She stays organized and actually follows the syllabus. However, the only negative factor of this class is that there isn't much extra credit. If you miss an assignment, or don't do well on a quiz, there's not much you can do to pull your grade back up .

    Course highlights:

One of the highlights of this course was the printing press demonstration. It was such a different experience and I completely did not expect to be printing my own stamps in a Shakespeare class. A huge metal press was brought in and a speaker gave us a brief tutorial before we all got to make a print of our own.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Stay on task, start assignments early, and do not slack off. I did bad on only two quizzes and got A's on everything else, yet those two still dragged me down to a B in quiz grade.
