    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend it because of the great professor!

    Course highlights:

i gained an in depth knowledge of the production of movies and the highlights were the essays that were to be written afterwards because you had to think harder about what the lesson was over for that day.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely pay attention to the small details that he lectures on before the movie and DO NOT be on your phone while the film is playing!!!!

    | Would highly recommend.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it is very informative and one of the few courses students like the most.

    Course highlights:

I believe that getting to watch a movie every time was the main highlight of the course. Also, the minimal amount of homework was a big plus too.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

My advice is to pay very close attention cause if you don't, it will definitely effect you in the future.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Although this class is very interesting, it is also extremely writing intensive. We watch one movie a week and then write an essay over it. The movies were fun to watch and you will learn a lot about cinema.

    Course highlights:

Every week we had a lecture over a different element of cinema including cinematography, mise-en-scene, editing, and sound. I enjoyed watching the movies and learning about the different aesthetics but the essays definitely made the course a little more difficult.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Do not take this class if you think it will be an easy blow off class. I highly recommend taking bribes as you watch the movie because it is hard to remember certain elements of the movie when you are writing your essay.
