Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This class was very interesting and intriguing. I highly enjoyed going to this class; it was also really beneficial for me to take a well.

    Course highlights:

We learned how to appropriately deal and help people with mental disorders. This is a class that I would recommend because, everyone in the health field will most likely have to come into contact with them every once and while.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I would give advice that if you do take this class, be prepared to read a lot. This will be really beneficial but, needs to be known when going into this class. Class work is not difficult but, test can have confusing wording.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course provides an insight and thorough explanation to psychological disorders. This course helps you learn and understand the accurate definition to psychological disorders dropped on daily conversations such as bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety and antisocial personality disorder.

    Course highlights:

As mentioned before, you get a real understanding of symptoms and treatments for personality disorders. The history behind treatment for some disorders are discussed at the beginning of the course. Case studies are assigned and you are able to apply what you've learned as you provide a diagnostic for the patient discussed on the case study.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Flash cards really helped me learn and differentiate the different psychological disorders. Going through my notes and recording myself as I read them out loud allowed me to play the recording over while driving or getting ready for class. Repetition helps me learn the material so these two things really helped. I also created practice exams for myself to review before every major exam.
