Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Bre Harris is a great professor! She may not be the easiest teacher but I ended that class knowing more than I learned from any other class.

    Course highlights:

The professor is super nice and always there to help. There's so much that I learned and took away from this course but one specific topic that I know everything on is muscle contraction and the process your body goes through to contact a muscle.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Study study study! Her tests are fairly difficult but if you study so the notes you will do well. I learned so much from this class because I studied a lot before each test.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Dini is a FANTASTIC professor. I've never met a professor who cares more about the amount his students learn during their time in his courses. He is fair and has a very distinct structure to his lectures, which make it very easy to successfully study for and do well in his courses.

    Course highlights:

I learned a very detailed understanding of how multiple systems in the human body function. Although I had a basic understanding prior to the course, I learned extensive detail about the complexity of the human body. The most interesting part, in my opinion, was how the nervous system and endocrine system correlate. It seemed like an overwhelming concept at first, but after progressing through the course my interest in the subject made it much easier to understand.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class! The textbook can be helpful for further explanation, but the tests are based off of lectures and you will not succeed if you don't go to class. Also, take notes by hand! sounds old fashion, but Dr. Dini uses an overhead projector (the kind with Visa-V markers) and diagrams so many things throughout the course, so you'll learn much more if you handwrite/color-code your notes in a similar fashion. Besides teaching the information relevant to the course, Dr. Dini will teach you study skills that will become valuable throughout the rest of your time as a student. I highly recommend him for this course!!
