Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This course is excellent and will clear up a lot of myths and misconceptions about what addiction truthfully is. Professor Bradshaw is not only a competent and experienced practitioner in the field he is a kind, thoughtful and charismatic teacher.

    Course highlights:

The highlights were learning new things about addiction even as someone who has been in Recovery from Drugs and Alcohol for years.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

You really, really need to ask lots of questions. Addiction is so misunderstood and you need to take advantage of this opportunity to find out the truth. Ask your questions, voice dissent, debate if necessary, just don't treat this course as an opportunity to evangelize your religion.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is definitely an interesting course. You will learn a lot about drinking, drugs and other addictive behaviors and the effects they have on the lives of the user and those around them.

    Course highlights:

This course really helped me to understand a little more of what the addict goes through. While we would never want to put ourselves in their shoes, we need to try to be empathetic to their plight because we don't know everything that is going on in their life.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do the reading. Watch the videos. You don't have to put a lot of effort into expressing your opinion but keep it classy.
