Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Though the class was difficult, Dr. Koch structured the class and tests in a way that forced you to think about the answer. I learned a lot more because instead of him giving up multiple choice question tests, they were true/false or asked you to chose between 3 perspectives about a certain scenario.

    Course highlights:

Dr. Koch was so funny and made class so enjoyable.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Be ready to use your brain, studying the material alone will not make you succeed.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because it helps one view life from a completely different perspective from others and helps in better understanding of different human behaviors and how to deal with people for a peaceful coexistence.

    Course highlights:

I gained moral values, tolerance and different societal norms which makes it easy for me to communicate with different individuals, irrespective of where they come from.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always be focused and understanding will flow without much ado.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I really enjoyed this class. Sociology is an intriguing topic in itself and the way Professor Thompson lectures, it becomes even more interesting. This class holds your attention with topics that are relevant to your life now.

    Course highlights:

Being that this is an introductory course, the class touches on all of the sociological factors. I learned about pressing world issues such as genocides, but I also learned about issues here at home such as nature v. nurture and the development of things such has marriage and divorce. This class is by far the most relatable course I've taken. I learned a lot about myself as well as those arounds me.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it. It's a good course for anyone wanting to be interested during lectures. Listen and take notes, and you'll be well on your way to a good grade in a good class.
