I highly recommend this course because learning how to properly prepare food can be a matter of life or death. Preparing undercooked meat or poultry can carry dire consequences, so being informed of all of the microorganisms, recommended food safety protocols, and which foods are of concern can be used throughout a lifetime
I learned all of the major foodborne illness causing microorganisms and how to prevent them. I also learned which government agencies oversee certain food products

Make flashcards, try to comprehend and not memorize the material because there is quite a bit and memorizing will make the course difficult for you
