    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Casadonte is an amazing instructor. He takes his time teaching and shows personal interest in his students and uses interactive examples. I really benefited from his flipped lecture arrangement as well. He is very quick to respond to emails and makes himself available to his students who need extra help.

    Course highlights:

The flipped lecture helped a lot and I learned a lot about molecular orbitals and about wavelengths.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Read the book!! I struggled when I did not keep up with the book.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

Awesome professor just make sure you go to every class and do the homework on your own!

    Course highlights:

I learned a lot about chemistry in this course. the professor does an awesome job actually teaching you the material instead of just running through it

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

You need to make sure attendance is high on your priority list and make sure you study as much as you can for her exams. It helps to memorize the periodic table because lots of exam questions require you to know it. She is very understanding as long as you email her in advance and not at the last minute and make sure you complete the homework on your own, they go hand in hand with the test! also the SI study sessions give you exam reviews so try to attend those

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would highly recommend this on line course because the professor teaches the material very well and the homework relates to what is taught in class and is directly tied to the exams.

    Course highlights:

I learned better study habits and organizational skills as well as developing a firm grasp of the basics of chemistry and thermal dynamics. A highlight was even though the course was on line the professor was available in person once a week to answer questions face to face.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Complete your homework early. Work ahead in your coursework and attend all face to face sessions with the professor. Use a calendar and plan out what day, time and place you plan to study and make it happen.
