Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class because Dr. Wilson is a well educated professor with numerous years of experience with students of all age groups. He can tell us what to expect in the classroom as well as how to properly conduct an effective classroom that produces effective students.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course have to be the immediate immersion into the world of teaching. Dr. Wilson's course involves volunteering in Junior Achievement which is a program that shows students about entrepreneurship, work readiness and financial literacy through experiential, hands-on programs. Another highlight in Dr. Wilson's course is Fort Worth ISD's Science and Reading Camp with Texas Wesleyan. The Science and Reading camp is a day in which students from various parts of the world come to Texas Wesleyan and attend their first day in College. These students may have never been in a classroom before our program and it is a unique experience that us as teachers will encounter in our teaching career.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Some tips I would give to incoming students is to be available to participate in the various learning opportunities this class offers. Every assignment that Dr. Wilson assignments have taught me various lessons that I can incorporate into my future classroom. Even though his class required many activities that required out of class time, they are worth every minute of it.
