    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

He is a good professor who is willing to answer any question, even stupid ones, in a way that you can understand. His class is lecture heavy and there's a lot of unrequired homework but if you do complete the homework, you should be good to go for the tests. Whatever he points out in his lecture as "difficult" is probably going to appear on the tests. He can jump around in his lectures, but his notes are posted online for reference.

    Course highlights:

I learned a whole lot of stereochemistry and imagining the molecule in your head was one of the toughest parts for me. Once you got that down, the mechanisms all fall into a general pattern.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class! Unless you are a super genius, class notes and help are much more valuable than trying to learn it on your own. Also do the textbook problems, he usually pulls a problem from the book on his tests, and they are good practice.
