    | Would highly recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

This is one of the best classes I've ever taken here at UH. I recommend it to anyone, regardless of your major. SOC 1300 covers current topics in society and politics and I personally feel like everyone would benefit from learning something new.

    Course highlights:

Race vs. ethnicity, social structures in society, civil rights and women's rights movements, lgbtq, etc.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class or you will miss valueble information!

    | Probably wouldn’t recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The teacher is horribly organized. No due dates are really known. The powerpoints aren't terribly helpful and neither are the lectures. Your best bet is to read the book, and make sure you are personally staying on top of the material as he doesn't give a reminder.

    Course highlights:

I thought I would be excited about the class but it sucked. He rambled a lot.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

If you like nonsenseical lectures then he is the person for you to take. If you want to learn something AVOID!
