A Few Big Assignments
Requires Lots of Research
Not too easy. Not too difficult.
There's a lot of materials to study and remember. But the materials is interesting and new. Sometimes the professor can be quiet monotone and some students fall asleep in class. The exams are quiet detailed. It's important to go through the materials more than once, maybe three or four times to help you remember them. There are 4 exams total. Three midterms and one final cumulative exam. It's nice that the final is optional, meaning you don't have to take it if you do well on the first three exams.
I learned about different the different cytoskeleton components and molecules that make them up. I learned about different cell membrane components and different signaling cascades. I also learned about the different mechanism of the cell cycles.

Advice for students:
Start studying early. There's a lot of materials to remember so you won't be able to effectively cram the night before the exam. Look at the old exams on Course Hero to know what you should focus on and what materials might be important for the test. The tests are not cumulative so you don't have to remember materials from last exam. Do well on the first three exams so you don't have to take the final and remember everything from the course.
