    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I don't think anyone should take this class as an elective because it's a lot of work for very little reward. However, since you're probably required to take the class, it's not particularly difficult.

    Course highlights:

Ordinary differential equations are pretty interesting, and that's what you're learning for most of the course.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Do every single problem on the test reviews.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The content isn't really that difficult, but the CASA quizzes are unnecessarily long and time consuming. Qiu is a pretty good professor, but has issues with pacing. Sometimes she teaches too quickly, but other times she goes too slow. Also, she tends to get too caught up in the theory behind the equations. Overall, engineering math isn't difficult as long as you're willing to do your work and ask questions when you're confused.

    Course highlights:

Well, as an engineering major, I was required to take this course. You spend the majority of the semester learning how to solve ordinary differential equations, which can be kind of gum if you like math like I do.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The tests are always very similar to the test review, so make sure you work every single problem on the review.
