    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

She provides good insight and prepares you well for tests. her mastering biology homeworks were a pain the butt but were worth it on the long run. Uses clickers every lecture. Be sure to check everything you do because she does give extra credit for almost everything.

    Course highlights:

Throughout the course, Medrano will go through the book very in depth. Cell cycles, genetics and cancer will be one of the many things learned in the short semester. Most of the things learned in the course will carry on to other fields of sciences and you will not regret taking this course in the future.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

read lecture slides on blackboard before every lecture, you will understand the material much better and you can ask her in class. Definetely go to office hours for anything because she is nice and helps you resolve anything. I personally did not go to office hourse but had friends that did and she was of great assistance.
