    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Bean is a very insightful professor and although the course material is challenging overall, she really knows how to teach the course and is always available for help whenever needed. As long as you actually study the material accordingly, the class isn't difficult at all.

    Course highlights:

I definitely learned a lot about organic chemistry in general and was able to learn a huge amount of reactions and concepts that I otherwise could have just skimmed over if I were taking this with another professor. All the material learned was crucial for someone like me who plans to go down the medical/dental path.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Always study ahead of time rather than procrastinating for the test, because although the material seems difficult, her exams are really easy if you just plan out your studying the right way and learn the material in a timely manner.

    Course highlights:

The course is very good at teaching the student the proper material and really gives a good foundation for organic chemistry when studying for the MCAT, DAT, etc.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to always study ahead of time and keep up with the material. Review the lecture materials for the week at the end of each week.
