    | Would recommend.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I recommend the teacher more then the course. Mr. Murray is a great teacher who is very fluent in this subject. Never using any technology, he instead stands and speaks to the class, recalling everything from memory. He very knowledgeable in both current and past events pertaining to the course. The course itself I would recommend to those who originally aren't from America as it would sere as a fast facts type of class.

    Course highlights:

Over the course of the class I was able to learn about the political events that took place in Texas, specifically how Texas became a republican state. The course also served as a refresher, helping me to remember important events in American history such as when the democratic party was created and what purpose it originally served. Also, because this year was election year, our teacher did a superb jib in keeping me up to date with election news, as well as explaining to us how the election transpired the way it did.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

The course in general is graded on a curve, so in order to succeed it's best that you do your assignments before they're due. The homework assigned in this class is very easy, so its better you take care of it early, giving you more time to focus on your more challenging homework. Also, if you decide to have Mr. Murray as your professor, you MUST come to class and be attentive. The fact that he teaches his class a Capella means that you must stay awake and take good note. Lastly, as he is talking, try to focus more on the things he goes on a tangent talking about, as those topics usually appear on his tests.
