Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr. Cottingham did an excellent job presenting the information in a way that was easy to understand, which allowed for test taking to be less stressful and more enjoyable.

    Course highlights:

The highlights of the course were the group assignments during class where we were able to apply what we learned to different scenarios, learning from different student's experiences during class discussion and the quality of the slides which Dr. Cottingham presented. He made the material relatable, gathering information from advertisements and commercials we have been familiarized with and applying it to the context of the course.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Study a little bit after class each day, reviewing your notes, which will make the weekly quizzes easier to excel on. Make reviews after each quiz so you can combine them together for the exams towards the end. All of the exams were cumulative, so consistently reviewing your notes, and condensed study guides are key to being successful in this course. Also, take advantage of office hours. Dr. Cottingham was a delight to talk to and allowed me to gain other opportunities to advance myself in Kinesiology. I was also able to see where I went wrong in the exams so I wouldn't repeat the same mistake during the next exam.
