Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would 100% recommend this course to anyone who is interested in learning about the "why" of politics. Professor Choi is one of the most passionate professors I've ever had. She takes into account everyones view point and way of thinking and she is very knowledgeable on the topics we discuss. Unlike most professors, she actually wants you to not only do well but to actually have a greater understanding of what we are discussing.

    Course highlights:

There are so many places I could begin. My absolute favorite thing we discussed was the social contract thinkers because you grow up always hearing about Locke, Hobbes, and Rousseau but only knowing a thing or two about them. Professor Choi through her lectures and her readings she assigns us outside of class, gives us a much greater insight to what the Social Contract philosophers actually thought.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Go to class. There's no way you will fully understand what is going on in the course if you do not attend her classes, plus they're so interesting there's no reason you wouldn't want to go. Reading is not optional, from what I've seen the people who do the best on the tests are the ones who go to class and do all the readings so really make sure you do the readings. Not necessarily taking notes on them but defiantly highlighting things for you to review later on.
