Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Computer availability is very well.On the other hand cell phone usage is mediocre. It took the school months to provide useful cell phone reception and even now it varies room to room. Wi-Fi is used but is randomly works and connections must be transferred.

    Course highlights:

Greek life is obvious but it is not a must. They are constantly seen around campus during events and they also throw lot sof parties. I'm actually debating on joining.School spirit is highly promoted! We always wear red on Fridays. Teachers try hard to get students to attend games.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Transportation is very accessible on campus. Students get a discount to ride the bus with their student I.D. plus the many bus stops around campus. There is also an on-campus bus route that has an available schedule. Transportation is convenient but personally I feel more comfortable having my own source of transportation.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Humidity, Enough Said – It's Houston. So humidity from the Gulf is to be expected. You go outside for less than a second and you are already sweating it can get so bad. It's not for the faint of heart, of you don't like hot weather, avoid Texas in general.

    Course highlights:

Labs Get Crowded up. Student Center or Library Is Best Bet. There are a lot of students that attend the university so a lot of the computers are occupied most of the time. Better to bring your own laptop. If you don't own one then its totally fine a computer will be availiable somewhere.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Very Safe Campus – There is really no campus crime. Personal safety is not threatned at all. There are campus police everywhere you look so safety isn't a problem. They have call stations set up if you need assistance.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The classes are really big but that is how it is at most universities. It is also very expensive and some classes that are mandatory for a large number of students only offer 1 or 2 teachers which doesn't leave many class times or room to enroll in it. Overall though, I like it and I think its a good school.

    Course highlights:

Go coogs!! We just won the Peachbowl! There is a lot of fan support and school spirit at UH.The University of Houston won alot of football games. Go coogs. We're the second most diverse school in the nation

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

The campus is pretty safe. There are usually sercurity officers walking around at night and we have security at the entrance of our dorm. The neighborhood around campus is not very safe and so I do not go alone outside after dark.
