    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

She is the best professor every, she's funny and very specific in what she taught. She only lectured over materials that you would need to for the essays or just really important basic facts. She was quick and straight to the point and made history (my least favorite class) a lot more interesting.

    Course highlights:

Basically you go over what you already learned in high school, but more in depth. In high school they briefly covered topic, but in this course the topic more in depth and detailed and just made things more clear.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

It's a very easy class. Just show up, take notes, do your online weekly assignment, and write your essays and you should be good. Attendance is mandatory, we have assigned seats and the TAs walk around during lecture to keep on eye on everyone.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

Professor Hopkins delivers lively and humorous lectures, which help to combat the boredom that seems to be innate in most history lessons.

    Course highlights:

Professor Hopkins goes over the history of United States from colonial times to the start of the Civil War. There are three major papers that replace the Midterm/Final, so don't worry about those. Overall, this was a great class, and I would definitely take this professor again if I could.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Make sure to do the LearnSmart reading modules! They count towards the final grade, and also make the three major papers tremendously easier. Also, don't play games or do anything non-class related on your laptops during class, because there are TAs that patrol the room, and they WILL take points off of your participation grade if they see you.
