Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

The course was very informative without being overly stressful. Dr. Barth is a wonderful lecturer, and class is always interactive. Would definitely take another class from him.

    Course highlights:

I think all future hospitality managers need to have a thorough understanding of the myriad legal issues facing our industry. This course is a very good jumping off point. I especially enjoyed the section on contracts and different types of corporations.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Definitely read the book and participate in class. Barth really likes people who speak up and have an opinion.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I highly recommend this course for anyone interested in starting their own business in the hospitality industry. There were many case studies involved with this course.

    Course highlights:

Learning to write contracts and covering all ADA law requirements were just 2 of the majorly important topics that we covered in this class.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

I highly recommend this course, however, if Dr. Barth is available for the semester, take his class! He's still an active lawyer and even recently worked on the Erin Andrew/Marriott case!
