    | Would recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because for one it is a requirement for a Geology or Geophysics degree but also the professor made things interesting.

    Course highlights:

This subject in itself is hard and the professor tries to make it challenging for all learning levels. The course is interesting because it goes through the processes used to survey the subsurface and how they identify layers and even oil reserves under ground. Allot of math is involved and it will take allot of your time to fully understand all the concepts.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

Study the lecture slides provided and also have a good understanding of how all the equations are used in the book. It will help greatly if you do all the problems for each assigned chapter even if you will not be graded on them.
