    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Excellent instruction, material, and methods.

    Course highlights:

The fundamental analysis of of systems will be re-used in near every other course following in some way shape or form.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

This course is widely considered as the true introduction to the ECE department. To make through, you need to reformulate how you work and think relative to the other courses worked on prior. The majority of the teaching burden is placed on you, and not due to poor instruction, but rather because of excellent instruction. Dr. Dave will give you all the information you need and no more. You will be expected to to learn and teach the rest of the material with your classmates. Do all the homework and more if you want to succeed.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

ECE 2300, or Circuit Analysis, is the fundamental class in electrical and computer engineering. The material is absolutely important, and knowing how to solve the problems are even more crucial. Dr. Dave does an excellent job of conveying the content to the students; he is engaging, passionate, and very caring. If I could tell something to anyone who is interested in taking this course, I would say "Do yourself a favor and sign up!"

    Course highlights:

Principles and properties of linear circuits: voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, inductance, DC analysis, and AC analysis.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

"Do yourself a favor and sign up!" Also to really put the time and effort into this course: do the homework, go to class, and study.

    | No strong feelings either way.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I don't recommend unless you're absolutely passionate about engineering. The course is hard but doable. But without a driving force behind you. It's pretty hard.

    Course highlights:

You learn about resistors. Capacitors. Inductors. And other electrical engineering aspects.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

PRACTICE EVERYDAY. Don't ever slack off.
