    Course Overview:

    Research course that is one of a few options required. Dr. Yampuler effectively communicates the information through examples and the hw.

    Course highlights:

    Learned the differences between IFRS and US GAAP. This is critical if you are going into public accounting or plan on working for a multinational corporation.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do the homework problems, and give yourself time to do them. Know them for the exam, and you will be fine.

    Course Overview:

    I recommend the course if you plan on going into public accounting or working for a multinational corporation. It is important to understand the differences and similarities between IFRS and US GAAP, and Dr. Yampuler easily and efficiently communicates the information for an otherwise dry course.

    Course highlights:

    The differences between US GAAP and IFRS, such as pension plans and taxes. Dr. Yampuler very effectively communicated the information via examples.

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

    Pay attention in class, and study at least two days in advance. Know how to do the hw problems.
