    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    This is a very challenging course that requires you to really know the material. This may cause some worry since it is very challenging but the skills that you learn are fundamental if you want to become an electrical engineer or computer engineer.

    Course highlights:

    From this course, I am now able to implement techniques of circuit analysis in real world engineering problems. I learned the behavior of certain devices and implemented KVL, KCL, and OHM's Law to solve numerous problems.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do not fall behind regardless if you think you can catch up. This course requires a lot of your time from day one and even though it's possible to catch up if you fall behind, it would only cause your grade to suffer. Attend lecture and do at least one problem a day!

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    Dr. Shattuck is very passionate about the subject matter and I really enjoyed this class. I found it to be very enriching and entertaining.

    Course highlights:

    I learned everything from Thevenin's/Norton's Theorems. Max power transfer, resistors, capacitors, inductors, and sources. Equivalent resistances, the importance of units, and the ability to solve new problems were the main highlights of the course.

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

    Read before class. It will help a lot for the quizzes.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

    I recommend it if you are interested in circuits/circuit analysis. If you don't have the heart for this stuff, :9!4 take this class because you mostly definitely will fail.

    Course highlights:

    I learned circuit analysis, node voltage method, mesh current method, KVL, KCL. Whatever u do, do not put off studying for the tests!

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

    Do not put off homeworks and studying for tests! And do as many practice problems as possible!!! Aksu is great though because she gives packets that break down everything and make life easier!!
