    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I loved this course! I learned so much about geology and wound up switching my major to geology after taking this course. All the lectures were online for me, tests were at CASA on campus.

    Course highlights:

I learned about how landforms are made and broken up and I learned how the different types of rocks and minerals are formed.

    Hours per week:

    3-5 hours

    Advice for students:

Listen to the lectures while looking at the provided study guides. Pause the lecture after the professor is done talking about one of the questions on the study guide and write an in-depth answer to that question. I did this for every test and never got lower than an A.

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

This course was not only interesting, but insightful into how basic knowledge in Geology may impact our future. This professor was great in explaining things. Professor Capuano was very passionate about her study and loved to show us her rock collection.

    Course highlights:

The highlight of my course was being able to study on my own outside of class. All the work is online and is 100% the same as in class, so if you have other issues that inhibit you from going to class, I knew I could catch up and no hinder my grade. I learned a lot about basic geology and found it fascinating. We even learned about upcoming natural disasters waiting to happen like earthquakes and volcanoes! Pretty interesting stuff.

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

Study the power points and take notes and you'll be fine. You shouldn't even need the textbook for most classes! It's an easy class, an interesting class, and a beneficial class, solely if you pay attention and do your work!

    Pretty easy, overall.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this course because the professor is very helpful. She replies to all if your concerns and will even answer random questions you have over the topic. Although it's an online course, she holds review sessions on campus before the test. The test are also not hard!

    Course highlights:

This course gave me a better understanding of what surrounds us every day, the earth!

    Hours per week:

    0-2 hours

    Advice for students:

I would take this course if you're pursuing a degree in the science field. It will help you have a better understanding of things in many subjects.
