Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend Dr. Lauren Brewer to any marketing student, and specifically marketing students because she has a background and a doctorate in the discipline. She is very challenging and her exams are somewhat tricky, but she genuinely wants each of her students to know the material.

    Course highlights:

I learned how advertising and marketing differ, the importance of consumer behavior and consumer patterns, and the 4 P's of marketing a little more in depth.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Prepare for exams by making flashcards, attending office hours will benefit you in the long run, stay on top of your assignments, and be prepared to discuss what you have learned in each class period.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I learned a great deal about all the facets of marketing. It is much more than I realized and Professor Brewer was great at explaining all of the segments and tying them all together. I registered for additional marketing classes because of this class.

    Course highlights:

I learned there is much more to marketing than promotions.

    Hours per week:

    6-8 hours

    Advice for students:

Take it, you will not regret it.
