    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

This was a very challenging but interesting class. Dr. Wilk is a brilliant woman that can be hard to follow at times but if you want help she or her TA's will always make time for you.

    Course highlights:

My favorite part of this course was the "dreaded" HOTS project. It can seem very intimidating but it is actually pretty fun and they really encourage you to take charge and be creative. Other than that, I really appreciated learning more about insulin processing. Dr. Wilk always tries to get you thinking in way that connects what you are learning to practical medical applications. So she went pretty in depth in this area which helped me personally as I have several family members with diabetes.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Do NOT wait until the last minute and cram for the test and make sure you don't ignore the weekly quizzes.
