    | Would highly recommend.

    This class was tough.

    Course Overview:

I would recommend this class if you are going to be on the pre-med track. The professor is very helpful and approachable. You will have to put in hard work to get the results you want. Although that goes for anything in life.

    Course highlights:

I gained more knowledge about myself and how I learn best. I was also able to understand the different methods of learning and what suited me best. Also being able to learn about something that would actually help me in the future inspired me to continue with this class even though it was rigorous.

    Hours per week:

    12+ hours

    Advice for students:

The best way to study is definitely read the textbook and reread it while taking notes and highlighting important things. Once you have done that, it is best to find online practice questions in order to quiz yourself over the material. Anything that you cannot explain or that you don't understand much about, you should find a YouTube video about it and see if you can understand that way better.

    | No strong feelings either way.

Not too easy. Not too difficult.

    Course Overview:

Dr Christensen pretty much goes over Powerpoints without explaining much. This might be okay for someone who has gone over the topic using the textbook but it makes life harder for people who learn in class in first and then go read. Also there are some difficult topics where you reallly need the teacher to explain.

    Course highlights:

Best part of the course must have been genetics. I learnt all about how DNA is transferred from the parents to the children. I also learnt about the various stages of cell division. It is very interesting really.

    Hours per week:

    9-11 hours

    Advice for students:

Always read the book beforehand. This helps you understand better in class. It does not hurt to meet with other students to study.
